Would you like Women of Note to perform at your event?
Women of Note, has two seasons in which performances are given for public and private events in the Greater Long Beach Area.
The holiday season begins in September and ends in late December. The Spring season begins in February and ends in June.
During the holidays the group offers a wealth of traditional carols and Jewish songs for Hanukkah. Classical, popular and jazz tunes of the season round out the repertoire along with a humorous piece or two. A program can be planned to meet the needs of your group
During the spring season the Women of Note repertoire includes classical, popular and jazz compositions drawn from traditional and contemporary periods.

Women of all ages and backgrounds may participate in Women of Note. The singers are always ready to help one another; they work intently during rehearsals and study at home with cassettes or CDs. The ensemble sings both with accompaniment and a cappella in three and four parts.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 7 pm until 9:30 pm at First Nazarene Church, 2280 Clark Avenue, Long Beach 90808. Previous choral experience is desired. During your private audition, the director will listen to the quality of your voice and for your ablility to sing in tune and keep time. She will note your willingness to increase your music-reading skills.
